Description: Responsible for conducting client intake activities including but not limited to:client services (enrolling clients, formula distributions, client support, and referral), community outreach, inventory control, and maintenance of detailed program information and statistics. Due to COVID-19, contact with clients is extremely limited. Staff and clients must follow strict Company COVID-19 policies and guidelines (ex. Wearing masks, sanitization of desk area, hand sanitizer use, social distancing, etc.). Description of Duties: Conduct Client enrollment process via phone or in person; Distribute age-appropriate formula and other nutritional and non-nutritional items to new and enrolled clients (Note: Due to COVID-19, agency follows contactless procedures);Counsel clients on nutritional needs if necessary; Distribute materials and brochures, information pertaining to infant nutrition, infant feeding & breastfeeding, etc.; Assist clients with accessing other social service agencies when necessary; Maintain daily logs of all distributions by type ; Answer phones to schedule appointments, providing directions and instructions to office locations, information and referrals, etc.; Keep Manager of Client Services informed of any program issues; Other duties as necessary and assigned. Skills: •High school diploma or GED •Bi-lingual (preferred) •Excellent Communication skills •Good customer service skills •Good data entry skills •Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel •Available some evenings •Must have reliable transportation Send resume to HR@lifehouston.org
